ZMS offers a 2 Day Lead Climbing Course designed for beginner and intermediate ice climbers looking to learn the skills and techniques needed for leading ice.

This course will cover:

• Proper Crampon Techniques
• Proper Ice Tool Techniques
• Belaying with Single & Half Ropes
• V-Threads
• Proper Screw Placements
• Anchor Building
• Ice Evaluations
• Necessary Equipment and Preparation
• Rappelling

We customize all our trips and courses to meet our clients’ abilities and goals. This course is only offered during the winter months when the ice conditions are solid.
